Well, I was outta eggs so I had to borrow a photo. But really, it hasn't been under 115 F for the last week.
Anyway, we start onthe pool today! YES! Let me tell you, it has been torture for the last two years looking at it, empty. It needs some serious construction and mending, but I cannot wait. The horses are starting to give me ugly looks when I want to get into their water trough! (j/k)
Ok ya'll, more later, I gotta go flip the egg! :P

I have always wanted to try frying an egg. A pool would be a must in Arizona. Now if I can just convince my husband that doesn't swim that we NEED one.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the very unique and different perspective on life in your blog! It is country and it is city - it's a blend I really like!
ReplyDeleteBut you got some weird dreams! :)
I've added your blog to mine!

Ack! I would keel over and die! Some of my friends are in the area experiencing that heat wave. I can't do heat. I hope you're managing! However, someday, I really do want to see the egg trick. :P I also want to see the water cup trick for when it's really cold--flinging a cup of water out into the air and having the droplets freeze before they hit the ground.
ReplyDeleteOhhh good luck with the pool! I'll envy you a bit then. :P Pools are super!

Hahaha my niece Naomi did this couple of years ago. She thought I was lying when I said you could fry an egg on the sidewalk so she tried. Sure enough, few minutes later, it was yummy enough to eat. Err... minus all the dirt haha
