My Farmer's Market Botth Design

Well, I do have to say that I had the nicest booth there! The photos really don't do it justice, but eh. I loved it!

Ok, so I used beige tablecloths with green burlap on top. I had to put a conrast in because of the wooden crates (it would've been a tan blob without it!) You can see my spinning wheel in the corner near the yarns, etc. Don't worry, she came out later to do her thing. (I love spinning in public!) In the fron right corner you can see my contest box, guestbook, and the forms of payments I accept (along with a mini banner) Speaking of my banner, what do you think?! I love it! If you look to the right of the booth, you will see two straw hay bales... Get this, are you ready?? Seating for the guests! YUP! I put them down with notes saying "take a load off... pop a squat..." and others to that nature. It was over 100 degrees F that day, I wanted to be nice to my customers. Plus, the hubbies can sit while the ladies shop!

I ended up moving the gift wrap section, because it got in my way so there was a mini table behind the back table for all of that. I also opened up my portfolio so people could really see it and look through it. Overal I'm proud! I rock!

Enjoy the photos! Please leave a comment! :)

  1. Lovely, just lovely. Good job! If I was there I would have definetly have bought some of your stuff.

BTW, I think the saying is cop a squat. Not pop a squat. Tee, hee.

  2. Classic, when I posted earlier I have to admit I took a perfunctory look and quickly commented to be nice, cause I like you. But, after I put my babies to bed tonight and took a good look, my goodness lady! Excuse me, but you had a kick @ss booth! You had the Joy out and everything! And God bless your hubby for being out there behind you and everything! That is indeed the best booth I've ever seen! No BS, honey. Seriously. I can see you believe in superior customer service and I like that. Those years at Starbuffs did you well and they should be (and prolly are by now) sorry to lose you. Go get it Girl!! Dang.

  4. Thank you guys! I tried so hard! The next non-horse related show is in November. I can't wait until then. Snowbirds + horses + shows = big $$

Ashley, like mother like daughter, eh?

Oh I am so happy to be out of Starbucks. No offense. It was great, then it was awesome, then it sucked. How do you go back and forth from great managers, to not so great ones? The last one sucked. Dead serious, could have done without her...

Wasn't this about my booth?! hee hee

    Thank you!

  6. You did an awesome job setting up this booth! I'm hoping our little farmer's market will take off one of these days. We have ours year round right on the Hudson River in NY. Dockside during the warmer months and then fireside in the Sloop clubhouse.

  7. That looks beautiful! The hay bale idea was absolutely genius! I love the colour scheme, too--adding the green was just the right touch. It's so well organised! I'm sure you were very cosy and popular there! :P
