Early Present!

I have been wanting one for months. I am so thrilled! Yippie! The sad part, I'm too tired to use it tonight! Hahahaha. But also, today my awesome YN Mentor Mindy came to school today. I was warned not to go into the class, but ya know what? I don't care. Any chance to watch more Young Nails instruction I'm gonna take it. Unfortunately, I had to chop off my gel stilletto. :-( I didn't wanna make it obvious I had 'em done, but I'm gonna try to do my left hand... We'll see.

Today the awesome Frenchy came by the school, with his band of Army biker buddies. Literally, they're army boys. Hahaha. Sadly i did not get a photo of them, sorry ladies!

Young Nails Art Class

I had an absolute blast yesterday in Chandler! I got to hang out with my lovely ladies, Rhiannan and Mindy as well as the other amazing girls, Katrina, Cathy, Robin, Heather and Dawn. It was just awesome!

We went over gels, acrylics, Mani Q you name it. Mindy is my girl! She did three 3D nails; penguin, reindeer, and santa. She did candy cane stripes, christmas trees, snowflakes, oh my gosh lots! AND, the very last photo shows the before photos of a hand of our awesome model, we used the cover pink on her and you would never know her nails aren't flawless! <3 YN!

I'm torturing myself with Dooney & Bourke (HSN) and so badly want 3 bags... I'm so terrible!

Happy Craft-mas!

Oh my gosh... I love love love Colin Cowie's christmas collection on HSN. Yes, I actually just made my first purchase a few moments ago! Don't ask, I will not tell you what I bought! He's gay fabulous! (Like my favorite district in SF, only more glamourous!) I know, my spelling if off right now... But for this year I'm bringing out my crafty talents and going to try to duplicate a couple pieces from Colin. Check out the candle holders! Wouldn't you love them? For me, I'm doing a hot pink. (Naturally)

Reindeer Stilleto Nails!

Party Nails!

I'm so excited about the Young Nails class this Sunday! Its the Holiday Art class and I'm hoping we'll learn how to create the stilleto reindeer. A what? Yup! Stilleto Reindeer! (See photo) Mindy Morgan, YN Mentor is teaching the class and I'm pretty sure that's her hand but I am so excited! I have decided that toward the end of the month I will get off my nail freeze the school put me on (aparently they didn't like that I wasn't doing enough hair clients, but I don't wanna get into that!)

I have been watching QVC and HSN this evening (killing time) and I'm slooooowly trying to get in the Christmas mood. I'm waiting for next year after I make my millions in nails, hair & skin.

Skin Care Week!

This module is only for one week. I love skin care! Facials and makeup! I'm very excited. I am gonna printout some face sheets and dazzle up some ideas for my facial projects. (Thanks to MAC, of course)

I'm both stressing and excited about December. I've got so much going on its nuts! This coming week I have a Young Nails class, followed by getting ready to go home to San Francisco then I'll be packin up to head to Long Beach. I'm actually starting to freak out with how busy the next 13 months are gonna be!

I know this isnt for a few months, but I am so excited about February! The 7th is my anniversary, the 11th is my birthday, the 14th is Valentine's Day and the 15th is my graduation from Empire! Which means I really have to buckle down and put in the exctra hours to make sure I graduate on schedule! My graduation theme is pink and black (maybe brown or white.) Either way you MUST wear pink to attend. :-) (by the way, the photo above will so be me on my graduation day! I dunno where i found it, but yeah!)
